JB weld wont hold it. get what u need from a salvage yard or post a WTB ad. don't destroy a perfectly good pass door handle.

I've never been able to find a good fix for this. both my handles have been replaced with salvage ones. Tried to fix the broken ones, to no avail

I've done a similar fix and it just won't hold. Mine lasted 3 days before breaking again. Buy a used one and save yourself the time

AB Handle

I have had excellent results repairing a passenger handle that was broken at the top where the punched vinyl wrap met the smooth plastic top. After complete disassembly I sanded the inside of the handle with rough sand paper, glued the pieces together with epoxy, bent a couple pieces of wire to the shape of the inside of the handle, epoxied those into the handle then put down a couple more coats of epoxy. In total I probably used less than 20 percent of a tube.
The handle has been rock solid for over a year now. The key I find is to rough up the surface if you want a strong bond. I did a similar repair on a broken exterior handle as well and that handle has stood up as well.
