I am going to be picking up an 86 this weekend and am going to be car hauling it. Are there any special considerations i should be aware of?? It is a manual transmission. Ocasionaly i have come across other manufacturers that require drive shafts and such to be removed before towing. i will be pulling this one for several hundren kilometers.

Nope. I towed an Rx7 about 100kms using a car dolly with no problems.

No issue with extended towing on 4 wheels as mentioned in the owners manual. Just make sure the transmission is full and nothing is seized...

 

Made it home and put her up on the hoist, turn out she's an 87 13b and is in great condition. a little work needed on the underside, but nothing a welder cant fix. Never been so excited in my life!!!! now, do i customize or restorize????

 

I'd say restorize/reliabilitize first.

Found it on kijiji in Midland. bought and passed down through one family. Its in great shape and runs sooooo smooth. She will be restored/customized in Milton in a high school Auto class. just a few holes to patch up on the underside before i consider a fresh coat of paint.
