I was wondering if there are any parts that can be installed in/on a first gen RX7 from other cars that could replace/enhance stock parts. I mean ANY parts from tranny's to seat's and all thats inbetween . It doesnt matter whether the parts come stock in another car or are aftermarket, any information and/or feedback is apprectiated.

you might be better served if you were to say more precisely what it is you want to do - what parts you have in mind. the two parts you mentioned by name (tranny and seats) could easily come from the Gen II cars, but whether or not they would be considered upgrades is purely subjective.

if you own a Gen I, it's kind of expected that you learn to adapt. you learn to rebuild, refurbish and/or fabricate. stock parts are far from extinct, but i can testify that they are definitely more scarce than they used to be. that doesn't even mention the fact that they are simply old and worn.
