Im working on buying a 84 rx7 gsl se here is a list of the stuff the owner has done to it
Weber 45 DCOE with short Lake Cities style manifold
Racing Beat header and muffler
Mazdatrix drilled and slotted brake rotors

New ball joints/tie rods
Earl's stainless steel braided brake line
Enkei Racing wheels with new Kumho ECSTA tires

But then I looked up Calumet on the map, and you might as well be in Florida.
For autocross, suspension is where you'll want to spend your time/money. Power isn't much of a deal, the 12a puts out more than enough especially for beginners. I've never lost a race due to a lack of horsepower.
If you're ever up for an eight hour drive, check out the midwest section of this forum. There's a thread stickied at the top of that section where I post all of the Michigan races and events.
Welcome aboard, by the way....

what is the difference between 12a and 13b is it just one has a carb or are they completely different
