The RB25 and 26 motors are good motors . I have heard about reliable 500-550 whp on stock motor . I see many guys go for a 2jz swap bc I have seen proven 700 whp on stock block and stock ignition . It's all in the tuners abilities .

I'd rather see an rb 25/26 or 2jz in an rx7 then a ls v8

Im new to the forum but isnt the whole reason to buying an RX car to have the rotary engine? in my opinion id keep it rotary. If you dont like the engine theres plenty of cars out there that are in the same class of car as the RX and you wont have to do a pricey engine swap. But if you got the money give er. it breaks my heart tho to see LS swaps in an RX7's.
