omp

1. I have a 79 limited with a 13b weber carb swap and metering lines do go anywhere?they seem to be broke before the carb area?any help?got a Clymer/haines manual on the way,was wondering before hand.

2. so my omp is leaking cause it dosent connect anywere....do they sell thise blocking plates?do they come with an o-ring?id like to take mine out....I have been running oil at a 1;100 mix with top synthetic been running good but I have rag covering metering lines with tape lol

welcome to the board.

i combined both your threads because the topics were related and i didn't see the point both even though they seem to be leading in opposite directions: want to fix the OMP lines vs. want to delete the OMP.

scenario #1 - if you want to keep the OMP

i know i've seen some Webers with nipple for the OMP lines. i've also seen some without. if you don't locate nipples already on the carburetor or manifold, then it shouldn't be too hard to install some.

scenario #2 - if you want to delete the OMP

you can get block off plates from a few places. you might want to try the obvious places first, like Mazdatrix, Atkins, Pineapple, etc.

just a note: i noticed you mentioned you premix with a "top synthetic" and i thought it was worth confirming that you are using premix and not motor oil.
