oil pressure sensor...
I have a 1991 rx-7 convert, all stock, but the oil pressure gauge isn't reading anything, But i take it I have pressure being i just drove it 50 miles home without breaking down or smoking. Could it just be the oil pressure sensor gone bad? and if so where is it located on the block?

welcome to the board.
the sender is a drum or bell-looking thing in the area under the oil filter. one blade connector wire attached to it.
the sender may be bad, but my experience so far has shown you're looking at either a dirty connection or something amiss with the sender wire.

The gauge is part of the speedo cluster and that usually doesn't go bad.
the Sensor on the other hand can get fouled or just go kaput..It's $65 bucks at Mazdatrix webiste.
If it goes just buy an aftermarket gauge at that price.or by another used sensor.
