oil gauge wackness?

my oil pressure gage goes all the way up within the first minute of me starting my car. whats wrong?

The sender is bad, or the wire is shorting to ground.

I've gone through several senders. You know it is going bad when you see the oil pressure reading make quick jumps (either up or down) disproportionate to engine RPM.
