hey, i have a 1993 mazda rx7 rhd running a parallel turbo set up and running off a microtec lt9c. it has a mild port. i haven’t had the car for too long, i noticed the idle bouncing up and down at some point and shortly after while at a red light the idle slowly raised from 1000ish to 3000 and stayed there.

i vacuum tested it with a smoke machine, nothing. tried to set idle screws on the throttle body and only got it as low as 2200 but i think this isnt correct for me to do anyway as something brought that idle up. where i live, nobody can look at the tune. i’ve replaced the IACV and it’s still got the same issue. if i unplug the IACV it goes down to 1000 and then struggles to idle. AWS has been deleted.

not sure where else to look or what to do 🤷‍♂️ do i just rule this out as a tune issue and ship the car off to get tuned?
