Removed all warmup components crappy idle

So I removed all of the Idle control components on my FD. I converted to the simplified sequential vac diagram, and now it won't hold an idle. I did a reinitialize and ran through the idle learning. Everything was great, and idle was smooth as butter. Then when I turned the car off and back on, it idled like crap again.

So my question is, what setting do I need to mess with to get it to idle properly. I don't have AC. I see on the settings 1 tab there is a checkbox for Idle-IG Cntrl. What is that for? I don't mind turning off the idle control all together, but what settings affect it?

Sorry I haven't any answer for your problem, but mine was like yours :

Removed a lot of things (basically nothing between the turbos and the TB), no second butterfly, fully non sequential, ...

And it was having a nice clean idle below 78°C, wavy idle after this point, but always kept it and wasn't stalling.

Are you sure that you haven't any air leak ? And sure that your TPS is in correctly installed ?

Do you have Chucks notes? I dont have them in front of me but from what I remember if manual idle control is what you are after you turn idle-IG cntrl off and set idle A.E, idle E/L, and idle A/C to 0. Then you can manually adjust the idle with the throttle body settings and ign and timing maps. It will sort of work opposite of stock tho, with additional load lowering the idle instead of bumping it up. So you are stuck with a slightly higher no load idle speed to compensate. But if you dont have his notes you should pick them up, its all detailed in there with alot more good info.

OK, cool I'll check it out. I'm pretty sure the TPS is installed right. It reads 0.43 at idle in FC Edit. I thought it was kinda strange that the idle was perfect during the idle learning, then went to crap after turning the car off and on. I did forget to plug in my AIT sensor, but that didn't seem to help anything. I'd like to avoid ditching the assisted idle, but I'm not sure if I have to do it manually since I removed all the warmup linkage and thermowax thing.

Well something isn't right. I adjusted the throttle stop screw and had it idling at around 1k. Drove it around the block and everything was great. Idle hunted a little, but it held. Then I boosted it, and it wouldn't hold idle again. It ran really rough below 2k. I'm wondering if it could be a problem with my coils or TPS? The coils were working fine before, hower the TPS was replaced because the clip on my old one broke.

Take logs of the problems as they occur.

I think I've found the issue. It was the line to my map sensor. Now I have to back off the throttle stop screw and go through the idle learning again. I'll grab the logs if it happens again.
