Ironic how California is the epicenter of the U.S. aftermarket parts industry, yet no hobbyist in the state of origin can run "most" of the equipment "legally" on street applications.

I hear ya. Its only the cars from mid 70s to 1999 that they hassle us. Now there's some changes to the law if your car is 2000 and up where they don't do a tailpipe sniff dyno whatever. I'm hopping that after a few more years, CA will give it up because all these 1990s car will be phased out and then us rare RX7 owners can finally be free to shoot flames out our tail pipes

Well, I know of at least 4 in the bay area who did. It was never a problem until the STAR program started at the beginning of this year. Now they're all afraid you're a government spy trying to shut them down. Maybe it's better now. I'll find out again in a few months.

Problem solved. Thanks you guys. I'll be going with the Bonez 3" DP with a Bonez high flow cat. All I had to do is talk to the right cool people. Smog looks like it won't be an issue now. $ talks

Funny it is supposed to do the same thing too.
makes things flow better.I don't know about the rusted nuts though..lol!
