So I'm a newbie to the rx7 world. I know there are primary and secondary injectors. I have read of ppl running lower secondaries but higher primaries .

I come from the evo and sti world where all Injectors are the same. So my questions is why not run the same injectors for primary and secondary? Why have the separate sizes.

Also if you were to convert to a single turbo setup do you still have to run primary and secondary Injectors.

I am confused on this part of the rx7 world.

you read wrong.
it is higher secondaries and lower Primaries.

 

the factory did run the same size injectors in the FC. for the FD and SE3P, they ran staggered setups like you mentioned, with larger secondaries. most modified setups will adhere to this practice and the simplest (and crudest) explanation is smaller injectors idle better. injectors have come a long way over the years though.

 

Do you have a Rx-7? If yes, which model is it? FB FC FD?
Also, what do you want to do with it?
