Hey my name is Dave I recently bought a 1988 Mazda RX-7 FC convertible and it has the rotary engine in it 5 speed welded diff and on coil overs custom 2.5 header back exhaust I was wondering what kind of premix do I use for this car? Oil and gas type? I can’t just put regular gas in correct? This is my first rotary sorry if the questions sound dumb I just don’t know a lot but am trying to learn everything bout this car

TCW3 2-stroke oil. With the oil metering pump still attached I've always done 1 oz per gallon. 128:1 ratio.

If it's a non-turbo regular unleaded is fine.

Welcome to the forum

Technically, with a functioning Oil Metering Pump, the engine will inject oil from it's own crankcase and premixing isn't necessary

That being said, many people run premix as a precautionary measure. As alexdimen said, you can use TCW3 and regular unleaded gasoline.

There's an FAQ at the top of the 2nd Generation section that is worth a read and will give you a crash-course on the 2nd Generation Rx-7. Make sure to stay on top of oil changes and perhaps do regular tune-up stuff so you know it's been taken care of. Filters, fluids, plugs, etc. Better to be safe than sorry.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, oil chart can be found on the sticker under the hood or in your owner's manual. I personally like 20W50
