New oil cooler problems

ok. i have a 1991 convert na. i had to buy a new oil cooler cause the person that had it hit something and bent the **** out of the old one. well. the new one is totally different and it says i have to mount it up on to the raidiator. i dont mind doin that. only problem is apparently this kit has to be put in by placing it under the oil filter and not the two pipes that they have on the car. is there a way to seal those up or am i going to have to find a way to put this thing in even though it says its for an rx7??

The openings the stock oil cooler lines come off could be blocked off with a couple plugs, but your description of this thing sounds odd. A direct replacement oil cooler wouldn't bypass the stock lines. Just get a used oil cooler from the classified section. Chances are the stock cooler (which is actually very good) will be better than whatever this thing is you bought anyway.
