New at this need advice please

I have a 1979 Rx7 with a 13b bridge ported (fully built) with a turbo 2 tranny. I narrowed a 8.8 ford reared with full 4 link. I have a holly blewthrew carb but want to go fuel Injection Also my turbo is a gredy t78-33D

I thought turbos didn’t work well with Bridgeport because of the overlap allowing pressurized intake to blow out the exhaust port? Is that not actually an issue?
