New Member Guage Sender question

I am new to the forum. I am swapping a 84' 12A into a 1979 Super Beetle, and I will be using VDO gauges in the dash. My question is in regards to the Temp and pressure senders.

Are these the Water Temp, and Oil Pressure senders?

Sender location

Yes, those are oil pressure and water temp for the factory gauges. Beware, I believe those use some weird thread, I think BPT/BPST or something like that. It’s a good idea to run an oil filter pedestal that is tapped for quantity 2 1/8”npt fittings for oil temp and oil pressure then tap the rear of the water pump housing 1/8”npt for coolant temperature.
