Temp. and Oil pressure question

I have an 86 N/A and I was wondering where the Oil pressure and temp.gauge should be reading only have an exhaust and air filter if that does any thing

my 88 N/A runs around 40-50 on the gauge when on the road..20 at idle...the water temp reads just below the half way mark..which i have "forum read" as normal..so anything else we can do for you this evening..lol

With a question like that, I would start by reading/seaching the 2nd gen forum/archives!

Don't try to guess what the stock gauges are telling you.
Get aftermarket gauges to get more accurate numbers.
The stock gauges are there to tell you if you're OK or IN-TROUBLE.
