Maybe the flywheel isnt aligned right, mine was doing the samething when I bought it and I took the starter out cleaned the connections after testing it at autozone and tightened it down to the engine again and didnt have the problem again since then

Idk why mine wasnt engaging but for some reason what I did happened to work. It was that or it wasnt tightened enough for it to engage with the flywheel.

I doubt the engine is seized if it didnt sit that long but if you already tried to start it and the engine was seized the damage is probably already done. You could have tried turning the e shaft pulley by hand first too. I read that some ATF in the sparkplug holes get rid of some carbon and can unseize a seized engine but that comes with the risk of carbon falling into the combustion chamber and damaging the internals like seals. Seems like maybe it is getting too much power to that fuse and keeps blowing it or maybe the wrong fuse was put in? Simple things like that tend to happen sometimes haha

well engine turns no problem but something keeps shorting the 80 amp out but it sounds like the starter wire that goes to the coil on top of it doesnt seem likes its getting power cause it sounds like its spinning but not shooting out

You can always try and replace the starter wires, they arent that expensive or that hard to do. So your engine is turning over? The starter is engaging with flywheel then? That is a weird problem. When I had my starter problem I didnt have any problems with the 80 amp fuse blowing.

Your best bet is to get a haynes manual! That will help with alot of problems. In the back of thye manual you can find all the schematics that you need. Now from what I have read it sounds like you have some bad wiring in your harness and may need to either a) replace the harness or b) rewire parts of it. I would start with the starter power and ground wires and check for splices and cuts.

Agreed, I have had the Haynes manual for both of my FCs and it really helps. I forgot to mention that my starter wire was cut about a foot before the starter and a random wire was spliced into it. For what reason I do not know because it did nothing. I took the wire that was spliced in back out and reconnected the starter wire to the original starter wire and put the starter back in after cleaning the terminals.

the 7.5 amp fuse pops when u try to start it? thats the dash lights. also theres acc wires that go to the stereo that could be grounding out. that will def pop that fuze when u turn the key.
