My instructor back in tech school said it was highly illegal. But, it wouldn't be the first time he was wrong. What engine was the Firebird running? Those first gens were sweet!

I had a similar problem - once the air temp heated up under the bonnet I had a very like problem. In my case it was a bad secondary injector. Once it reached a certain temp it no longer injected on pulse command. It would flood the chambers with fuel and the car would stall at low revs.

Sadly it took my a few days of trying everything before I found the cause.

That sounds like my problem, im gonna get it diagnosed when i go back to school then buy whatever- which sounds like injectors
