need a hand with

figuring out my safc.
i know from reading other topics that people don't like giving out maps because of different setups and what not and i'm probably wasting my time because someone is just going to tell me to get it tuned (which i plan on doing when i get the afr's set reasonably). yesterday without the safc hooked up, i was running 10.9 at idle! that's a bit rich.
anyways, i'm just hoping someone can tell me roughly how things should be set...

only mods i have currently that would affect afr are 3' straight exhaust, no emissions.

There's something wrong with the car if you don't have any fuel related mods and it is running 10.9 at idle. The S-AFC won't fix it.

The fuel pump would be the first thing to check. An aftermarket pump will outflow the stock regulator and raise the pressure. Check fuel pressure as per the instructions in the FSM/Haynes.

ok so some things were fixed...
i changed the spark plugs and it turns out that two of them from the PO were in the wrong spot. fixed that. the car is still running pig rich though. when the car started to get warm it got a bit richer even (10.2).
also, the wastegate is not smoking as bad after adjusting some vacuum lines. win.

one more thing that is concerning me is that my blow off valve doesn't seem to.. well, blow off anymore. you can see the top kind of lower when you give it gas but there is no blow off so either my BOV got messed up at some point or it's not getting enough to blow off, which if i remember it doesn't really take a lot...

also i'll be buying a t-fitting tomorrow and testing for fuel pressure, just a quick question, looking at my haynes there are two checks, fuel system pressure and fuel pump pressure. should i just go ahead and try both of them?

thanks.
