Need advice on choosing an ECU

Hi everyone,
I have a 2000 RX7 type RS (i believe its referred to as a Series 8), stock except for an exhaust, HKS filters, and soon to be Greddy intercooler. Of course this means an ECU upgrade is a necessity.

I've been racking my brain about this for some time however. I need an ECU that can, amongst all the usual features, control the OMP and the functions of the stock twin turbos. Must be plug&play.

So far I have eliminated the Link, as their p&p offering does not control the twins.
i believe the only Haltechs that can run the twins are the Elite 2000 and up, not sure if they can run the OMPs
the Adaptronic EMOD012 can do everything I want, but I'm waiting to hear from Turbosource if they have any in stock, not sure who else sells them, also ive heard mixed reviews about them/turblown.

that's all i have so far, i would appreciate any feedback from you guys!

thanks, im aware of that, but it seems to be more for troubleshooting issues with each brand - except for the Adaptronic page, which looks, er, bleak.

anyhoo, i think i found what i was looking for elsewhere, so this thread has no more use really lol

I believe Adaptronic is End-of-Life so you may wish to research any considered purchases in that direction. I'm happy with my Haltech Elite 2500 but it has a custom harness. I believe all Haltech Elite models 1500 and higher can control OMP but searching through the Haltech web pages for product descriptions will allow you to verify that.

unfortunately i can't really give any feedback on ECU's, off the top of my head i can list a few choices i've seen mentioned. i think haltech and megasquirt r the favorites.

The 1500 cannot control the twins. You need at least a 2000.

Danielmu is a spam account. All he does is copy/paste replies from earlier in the thread. Probably getting ready to scam someone
