I have a 1984 Limited Edition RX7, it has a rebuilt 1989 13B, dellorto Carb Racing beat header and exhaust and 2 Facet fuel pumps plus light weight steel flywheel. THE CAR HAS NO SPARK. Coils, ignition wires, dist. cap and rotor all are new. Air gap in distributor is correct and the igniters test as good. I use the proceedure in the Haynes manual for this test. I took a distributor from my 81 RX7 and installed it in the 84. The 84 started ran 15-2- seconds then stopped.It would not start again. The was no spark. Putting the distributor back in the 81, now the 81 has no spark. Does anyone have any idea what could be the cause?
