You'll need to remove the intercooler to get pictures of the front and rear of the throttle body.

Have you adjusted your car's TPS already? It may not be the main problem, but it may help.

...

Sorry to lose touch, I've had a BMW cylinder head to replace and it was a nightmare. Anyways I acquired an engine crane and have removed the engine. With the amount of miles, smoke and over driveability issues I have decided to do a rebuild. I do still have the air pump Aaron, I was about to start changing all the gaskets on the intake and exhaust and for some reason I decided it would be easier with that off.

The BMW job was to acquire the income to do the Mazda job. Should I use Mazda seals?? Is there a kit anywhere I can buy that has everything I need, or most of it?? Just some ideas would be helpful.

Also, Sir Aaron, is changing the intake to the S5 as easy as I believe it to be?? And is it possible to use upgraded exhaust headers on a convertible?? I have heard that a slight amount of bending will let them fit. I am just looking for some of the easier aka less expensive ways to achieve a little more power since the engine is out anyways.

By the way very nice job on the videos on youtube. I have watched almost every one and with a book and laptop nearby I think everything will go nicely.

Why have you posted that in this thread? It's not related to this topic...

The tread started with myself asking simple questions about a TPS and such. Changing sensors and almost every aspect of the fuel system did nothing.

In other words I am not going off of topic, it has simply evolved into more than it was at the beginning.

Don't hate, allocate!!

Mazda apex seals are the best but are the most expensive, most people use rotary aviation or atkins apex seals.

Atkins are softer and breakin faster but can't handle high boost or detonation as well as ra seals.

Rotary aviation seals are harder seals and wont breakin as fast but are the stronger of the two, won't break as easy and will handle high boost.

Both ra/atkins are around the same price, Mazda is much more money.

For na it really doesn't matter which you use, for a turbo most people i see run ra seals just because they're the stronger of the two.

You'll also need other things besides the apex seals, but your choice in apex seals is probably the biggest decision you'll have to make.

Definitely in to see what the problem is as well. My car also does the same thing as well. Then once it dies, it takes a min then fires up just fine. It's a weird problem.

Well, if adjusting the TPS doesn't work, I don't know what you could do next, maybe check the spark plugs gap and the idle mixture?
If you check past posts in this thread from Aaron Cake, he was giving you some good directions, check what he was saying and maybe try to get more help from him.

Good luck.
