My rx7 fc wont start after rebuild

Hey guys, I need help! I drive an mazda rx7 fc turbo 2 1991. Now, here's the whole story. My rebuilted motor doesn't want to start! The engine is cranking, has a spark, compression but still won't start. Spark plugs are not NGK bur9 eq and bur7 eq. I put other spark plugs, but with the same temperature value. Trailing 9, and leading 7. Does that has to do anything with the fact that my engine wont start? Thanks!

Rebuilt engines can be a hassle to get started the first time. I would start out with a compression check and make sure your getting 3 even bounces on each rotor, cause if not you'll be chasing your tail

If that checks out, make sure your fuel injectors are working by taking off the fuel rail but leave the injectors hooked up, setting the engine to TDC, take out the distributor (i'm brain farting on the actual name of it) and give it a spin with the key on, this will help you visually check for spark AND fuel should be squirting from your injectors

If this all checks out, put it all back together, and get a buddy with a truck to pull start the car (2nd gear for this)

if your not sure on your pulley that could also be 100% of the problem, you NEED to make sure its correct or else it could never run right
