My grandpa is no longer allowed to drive and passed his beautiful girl (Roxanne) down to me. The car is in pretty bad shape and doesn't run at the moment. He loved his two cars and it breaks his heart to not see it running. He (being the way he is) replaced the manual gear box for an automatic one that he modified to get to fit into the car as it was not the correct one. The car has a manual choke and just won't start. It coughs and catches but never starts or is able to rev. I have done the following:

Took out plugs, cleaned them, spun rotors to get fuel out, ATF in bottom two plug holes and put QuickStart in the air intake.

I have also tried the trick with the fuel relay and neither has been successful.

Please can somebody help me to get her running.

Of all 79-85 RX7s, only the 84-85 GSL-SE received a 13B and it was EFI, not carbureatted. All 12As except the factory 12A Turbo were car by too.

Is your car a swap? Sounds like someone took a 1970s carby 13B plus automatic transmission and transplanted it.
