Is my engine dying
This is what i have noticed
i have been experiencing that when i drive the car for a while, and the engine has warmed up i go to the store and when i get out and go to start my car, my car wont start i have to crank it like 10 times to get it to start with several minutes rest in between and once it cranks give it gas
i read in here that if theres carbon build up in the engine this could cause low compression so i have been driving my car a little harder now 3 to 4 grand sometimes 5 between gear shifts but i have noticed that this only aggravates the problem what can cause this ,
or is my engine doomed.

Hot start problems are extremely common. Fuel cut switches are common band-aid fixes, but they won't truly fix the problem. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ight=hot+start
In some cases, leaking injectors can flood the engine after it is shut off. Residual fuel pressure can drive fuel through dirty injectors and into the engine. Low compression is not going to help, but it is generally not the root case. You can compression test your engine if this is something you're worried about.

I have this problem too occassionally. I'm sure the main cause is the injectures but i have noticed that it happens much less after I have replace the spark plugs. A friend of mine used to have to replace his plugs every 6months due to all the mods he had done to his motor.

Every car is different, but I've gotten more than 6200 miles (10,000 kilometers) out of my plugs. But I think 14k miles is getting there on most rotarys. A set of plugs isn't expensive and it might help. Good time to check compression and what the old plugs look like might tell you something too.

I've have the same problem too, but my problem started to happen after I change my spark plug but... I know its my fault cause I tweak the timing and didnt put the right octane in so it didnt go so well but what I usally do is before turning off the car right away from a long/ or hard drive is I would let it site for about half to a min and it would usally help most of the time.

That might be carbon build up? Usally to release your carbon you want to red line it about twice a month? I usally do it every 3-7 days, reason to be that my rx7 is my daily at the moment

i redline my 7 everytime i drive it .... lol but thats why i have it, also would injectors to be to blame when u start the car in colder weather it dies like 5 times and u have to give it gas to keep it going for a few seconds but after that it runs peretty much steady with some rpm drops at time to time, the lowest being around 5-600 and regulating around 700-750 rpm idle

you know what? I had the same problem when I first got my car and it would rev high (@3 or 3.5) than it would drop to 100 than its tumble a bit than it die. but after I change the oil and always make sure I mix oil every now and then with fill up and change the plugs and wire and after that for me it stop dieing on me after its rev high than it drop but it would drop to like 1k and I would tap the gas than my choke would kick in than rev at 2k.... My car got better after I sea foam it. Also I would do some time is add fuel injector cleaner in it to clean most of the gunk of the injector. Its help alot... well to me it did. Dont go for those cheap brand name fuel injector cleaner. Go with, lucus or cheveron fuel injector with techron in it. Thats really help. Techron is the real deal.
