My Car

Well here goes only had the car 3days then started pulling apart and modifying..

ran at drags for 14.79 1/4 4lb boost
Fitted front mount and fixed split hoses and fitted 3"hoses ran at 14.3 1/4 6lb boost
learn't more about rotary and turbo set ups then ran at 15.7 1/4 10lb boost
any over 10lb boost like running out fuel dies then picks up, from reading forums am checking fuel rail pressure. if OK will look at computer

biggest problem is gearbox 2nd and 5th also selector very sloppy......replacement gearbox due Monday back to 1/4 mile Wednesday see if this helps

Fuel to the rear rotor is cut at 8.6 PSI. You have a few options:

Buy fuel cut defencer, which is a bandaid that will trick the ECU into thinking the car is under less boost. The timing will not adjust properly, and you will risk knocking.

Buy a Rtek ecu upgrade. http://www.pocketlogger.com. Much better option, and it will give you better timing adjustment & injectors staging.

Find out what fuel pump and injectors you have. The stock system will cause knock at 10+ PSI, and your motor will not last long. If it's all stock, stick to about 8 PSI max to be safe.

You probably got a series 5 transmission (they look almost identical). You'll need a S5 crossmember to attach to the mounts/mounting bracket on the trans.

Don't worry about internal differences either. You can interchange S4 and S5 transmissions. I'm running a J-spec S5 trans on my S4 turbo motor, and the only difference from a US-spec internally is my 5th gear is .806:1 instead of .762:1. Externally, there's no 5th gear switch, but I'd guess Aus cars wouldn't need it anyway.

I've never seen that spoiler before. It's different. Nice touch. Hope you can get your times better. Good luck.

I'm more fond of FCs without spoilers as well. Not having one makes the car look more smooth, I guess? I think most cars look better without a spoiler. Any new pictures of the car without it?
