my 88 vert roof wont close

anyone maybe know why "suddenly" the roof of my 88 vert wont close up at all...its stuck all the way down??????...the beeper doesnt work either when i try closing it...it wont move a millimetre...cheers

Is the e-brake off? The top won't move if it is not engaged, or if the related sensor is not making contact.
