My 1987 rx7 wont idle when warm or cold

Unhappy My 1987 rx7 wont idle when warm or cold

hey im new here, and i am wondering why my 1987 rx7 non turbo will not idle when cold or even when its warm , i know why it wont idle at cold, because my b.A.C connector has been cut by the previous owner and im looking for the connector to connect it. but can somebody help me about the warm idle ? thanking you in advance PR

The BAC will effect both the cold and warm idle.

Go to the auto parts store and get a Bosch style EV1 injector connector. It will fit the BAC if you file the little tab off of the BAC connector.

Also make sure the cold start thermowax and cam assembly are in-tact and working.

See the Factory Service Manual. You can download a free copy from the FAQ. It will help you locate those components on the rear of the throttle body.
