Misfire issue, new plugs/wires
I've got a 1988 NA FC and for the past two days I've been trying to deal with this stupid misfire issue. I just installed new plugs and wires yesterday and it ran perfect, drove several places throughout the day no problem. I decided I didn't like the new wires since they were 10.2 VMS wires and were interfering with the radio. Changed the fat wires out for the old ngk Blues then the car made a strange sound during cranking over and ran like garbage when it finally started. Tried putting the fat wires back on and it still ran terrible. Like it still idles at like 750 when warmed up but takes a while to get started now and when I push on the gas it sounds slightly like a Harley Davidson motorcycle, as though it's missing. I don't know what could have happened, I checked the plug and wire order several times over and it ran perfect beforehand. Like 15 minutes before it was driving around town great

Just to make sure, the Leading coil(at the front of car neer the lights) wires go to the LOWER plugs. It really does NOT matter which plug as they fire simultaneously.
*(the coils actually have Markings to tell you where what goes to what)
The Trailing coil( at the strut tower) need to have the wires go to the correct plugs. If not it will backfire and honestly run like ****.
So,if you look at it from the side of the car the Left coil output would go to Front UPPER plug. The rear most coil output would go to the Rear UPPER plug.
