Lower radiator hose spring form

Had a question about the lower radiator hose on an FC. I've been reading that it is absolutely necessary to obtain a hose that has a spring inside of it, so as to prevent the hose from collapsing on itself during high rpms. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is this true even with high quality silicone hoses?

YES I believe it true. There are springs in the bottom hose. Not sure with silicon tho.

Just because it's silicone, doesn't mean it's high quality. I'm not experienced with the FC, but if you're asking this question, why not just stick with OEM? You know it will fit, it will last A LONG TIME and you shouldn't need to worry about it collapsing.

Sticking with oem is definitely a possibility, but the question was more for curiosity sake. The silicone hose comment was because i was wondering if it was rigid enough to prevent it from collapsing on itself
