Stock Oxygen Lambda and Wideband question>>>?

Ok so here are the plans, motor is FD3S 1992-Feb Stock setup twin rotor twin turbo 13B

Have apexiFC to go with it but not yet mapped or mapped with some dirt probably so awaiting for my datalogit unit from NZ, till then I want to replace so suspected dead Oxygen Lambda sensor, and as Im thinking of getting wideband A/F meter , question is:

Can this AEM UEGO or other WIdeband be used as a multipurpose Lambda sensor? SUch as for stock/AM ECU and monitoring at same time/dataloging on a PC cars runtime and adjustnig maps?

Or do I ave to get bung welded in (I try to get away from doing this) and use the wideband separate from OEM oxygen sensor(which I suspect never changed yet and seeking to get this old one thrownb away and new one to make its way in)

let me know what do you think or which way you use yours and the outcome

thanks!
