Loss Of Power

I have a 1987 rx7 fc and i am having a loss of power. Whenever I drive it it's like I have at most 30hp at all times, doesn't matter what the rpm's are at, and it doesnt happen at a specific ime, the power loss is all of the time, whenever I drive it I have no power right off the bat.I have checked TPS and BAC valve, I have done a compression test and, I have checked to see if anything was clogged and found nothing. The psi readings were all around 90-100. This just happened recently when I was driving down the highway, I have not done anything regarding the engine in the time I have owned it. Please let me know if you have a possible answer as to what this could be.

check for vacuum leaks and if you have the stock exhaust on the car with the catalytic you may want to see when the cat was changed last.

Try unplugging the TPS and see if there is an immediate change for starters. Also, make sure the AFM flapper door opens freely and is not stuck. If neither of things remedy your problem then make sure the engine ground is good. If that doesn't change things for the better then check the fuel pressure.

Also, make sure when you press down on the throttle that the throttle cable pulls open the throttle plates.

I have checked for vacuum leaks, I don't have any, I also just replaced the catalytic converter yesterday with a Test Pipe. When I unplug the TPS the RPM fluctuates a lot, The AFM is also moving freely. How do I check the engine ground and the Fuel Pressure?

The rpm fluctuates when idling? If so, then how does it drive when unplugged. To check the grounds you could measure the voltage of them w/key to on and it should read 0 volts. This can be done at the ECU. You could also visually look at the engine ground on top of the engine block which requires removal of the items on top of it and cleaning it and retightening it. To measure the fuel pressure you would need to rent a fuel pressure gauge and place it in line w/one of the fuel hoses running to or from the engine. PSI should be about 28 to 35 psi.

Also is there a different spot to check the engine ground than the ECU? I was not able to get to it unless I broke some plastic that I wasn't able to remove.

Each of the engine sensors has a ground wire. The fuel sock in the fuel tank might also be clogged and the fuel injectors could also be clogged as well which could 'possibly' contribute to your problem.
