so Im not new to the car world, but I have mostly always owned vw's, decided it was time to get a rwd car as im sick of autocrossing a fwd.

I have a issue with cruising right now, it bogs with normal throttle but if I tap the gas then floor it, it will rip all the way to the red line, but as soon as I give it slight throttle and not full it goes back to a bog. any ideas.

 

Accelerator pump on the carb isn't doing the job anymore would be my first guess...but that's only after timing and general tuning issues have been settled first.
