NH limited slip rear gear oil

I m a driver in a local NASCAR short track class and we run a car that started life as a 1984 RX-7 GLS se. we chg the 1.3 fuel injedted motor for a 1.3 with a holly 4 bbl carb. Im fairly sure that it s got a stock rear end limited slip. been working well for a few years now but recently has become real loose in and out of the turns. Im going to chg the gear oil and hoping to breath some life back into it. doesn t seem to be hooking up with bith wheels like it used to. what should i use for oil and how much.
think this will let it grabany better
dont realy want to put a stockrear end in it and weld the spider gears like everyone else
anyone got and help for me
im ken mac and thx

I used Royal Purple, which stated that it does not need the addative. However, the rear chattered something fierce until I added a tube of GM LSD addative to it, then it was fine.

But since yours did work, and now it doesn't, it probably isn't your fluid. More likely the clutch packs have simply worn out. Try changing the fluid first, but if it isn't improved after that you'll probably have to tear it down and replace the clutch packs.

Good luck
