It's a 93 fd efini with a few mods. Used to have a EBCIII boost con but I removed it, in a previous post I wanted help because I have problems with boost preassure, I don't know if this is something that is messing with the rpms because the cut is near 6500 or less. Could be a vacumm issue? Or a sensor? What's the limit rpm of an stock fd?

Is it possible the boost is creeping over the ecu boost-cut level?

The boost-cut level decreases with RPM after its highest level at 4,500rpm turbo switch-over rpm.

It is possible to have steady boost and then cut when RPM reach the point of the next lower boost-cut that you boost exceeds.

See the top chart which shows the boost-cut line-

Talking about boost, when I got the EBCIII my car easily in 2nd grear reached 14.4 psi. Actually I don't have a boost gauge so I just feel the loss of boost in 3erd gear. Feels like a leak
