Unhappy Leaking Coolant Help!!

K so I went into the garage today cause it was +4 out and installed a lil fc commander holder thing and on my way out I noticed a lil pool of liquid on the ground. On futher inspection it was the coolant and it had kind of like drips off the radiator on both sides..... It was really cold here like -40 ish and then warmed up could have the coolant froze and then burst something? I have pics I will post. sigh this is not what I needed outta her as im preparing her for spring

K, I topped up coolant, and ran the car for about 30 mins and temps never went above 91 c and nothing dripped onto the ground. I inspected all hoses and there was no sign of leaking from the hoses, but the rad itself had some coolant on it, and once it reached 90 c u could see a bit of steam coming from the top left of the rad and smell coolant.....Time to replace Rad? Forgot to say, it is a 93 rx7.

If you can't find any leaks then I would be suspecting that the coolant itself is not up to par.
I would be checking with a hydromometer(?) to see the Freeze point of the coolant.
It sounds like it is not a 50/50 Mix..and is old.
OH..State your CAR SERIES.

3rd Gen FAQ thread has a couple of excellent coolant threads where you can learn more about the coolant system
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

You'll want to "rent" a coolant system pressure tester from your local Autozone or auto parts store to pressurize the system and look for leaks.
