VA lazy lights

How do you have your headlights come halfway up on a 2nd gen? I was told there is a **** under the car for each light to adjust, but every time I mess with it the light just goes back down. Any help as to if what I am doing is wrong or am I in the right direction, just doing something wrong? Also, I have a set of s5 taillights that are coming apart.(looks as if the glue that holds the lens isn't holding anymore) Are they worth taking apart and re-glue, or just place to the side an get another set???

As far as your lights problem, I don't know, because I never cared for them so I never looked it up.

I would however fix the taillights. They are hard to come by and expensive.

You have to take out the retractor fuse. It is located in the fuse box in the engine bay. The sleepy eyes do look cool, but they don't help any for night driving.

That's actually a pretty good write up, but you don't have to wire the fuse through the top of the fuse box. You can remove the fuse box and install the wires from the underside, maintaining the stock fuse.

Yeah, but the writeup on the link provides automated "sleepy eyes" so you don't have to put the fuse back in when you drive at night.

I know about it. I just found it a couple days ago, but it's raining like hell now. I'm looking out my bay doors, and I'm getting mad as hell because I was really looking forward to coming out and getting away from the old lady. Besides, I'm tired of always having to buy parts out of state. Now I can just get up with you guys hopefully every friday night and talk/swap parts and have fun.....

It's every Friday period - attendance varies based on how the weather is and random chance. Also if it's a race weekend down at VIR, attendance will be low. Anyway see my previous post for the related links.
I'll be there this Friday, hope to see ya.

After i rip my gtu apart and swap what i need into the non running glx and slap my 17's on, this is going to be my first mod. The diy controller looks like a fair mod. Screw paying $100 for the pivot controller and then you have to figure out how to wire it up....well, it's pretty straight-foward but still. I'd rather have it be good, fast and cheap when i can take it that way.

S5 tails are nice. I'll be on the lookout for a set soon. I dont like my s4's. Reminds me of a delorean....

To the haters, i love sleepy eyes. Always have. I hated popups until i saw them half open and just had to do it. Before i got my eclipse, i wanted a 240 and planned on doing it since at the time, everyone was doing front end conversions.

Who cares if nobody else likes it? It's your car!

Because its an illegal modification to your automobiles lighting system, and dramatically reduces safety at night, i wont ride with someone that has them. I have been almost hit almost everynight on my way home from college by the same idiot with sleepy eyes. Its not hate its fear.

THey have been doing the lazy eye thing on 1g dsms for ever but it doesn't have quite the negative affects for night driveling. Function before form.
Just my 2 cents But do what makes you happy

the idea of the controler is so that you can run the sleepy eyes during the day then open them up at night...not a permanate thing. it could be pretty nice to if you got a nice switch and tucked the wires better!!!
