Just Found Out My Carb is Flooding!!

Hey folks

so i just finished replacing all the suspension on my 1983 rx7 and all my brakes. As well as the oil pan and most of the leaks that i could find(still have a small leak from somewhere high and at theback of the motor) But i digress. So i took it for a test drive and it drives amazing now. Came back to the house and it died and would not start, smelling gas i assumed it was flooded and moved to the engine bay where i noticed fuel around the outside of the carb(appears to pool up on the manifold) My question is how difficult is it to rebuild these nikki carbs and if it would be better to buy a new one or a already rebuilt one? Any suggestions at all? or is there a step by step carb rebuild thread?

thanks all

If you can follow directions, then a rebuild can be done in an afternoon.

Here is a link to a wealth of information: www.sterlingmetalworks.com
