Can't til I reach 20 posts.

Wish I could remember my old login info. But it looks like during some time the site was wiped from users that haven't posted in a few years.

Awesome!
Here's a link for the time/place https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showpo...86&postcount=1

If an S5 NA radiator is the same as the turbo [as far as I know it is] I've got one here that I don't need. Send me a PM. ^_^

LizardFC >> Oregon doesn't care [probably since we have NO sales tax XD], as long as you have a title that's signed off.. Though I always like to get a bill of sale as well. Oregon has an official Bill Of Sale form you can use but it doesn't have a price field.

Nice! I am 90% certain that the N/A uses the same radiator. I'll shoot you a PM here soon. I really appreciate it! Got insurance on it now. Just need to get a trip permit, get the title transferred see if I can get both TPS units and run it through DEQ. Smells like it will pass the way it sits.

Again.. Thank you very much!

Wow that is a hell of a find! I wish I could find a deal like that. The cheapest I got a Rex for was $100 plus $150 in gas to go get it in Rhode Island. What are your plans with it?

Basically get it back to nearly factory stock. No real mods.

...Well.. Perhaps a Corksport TID, Full RB Exhaust, FCD, and haven't decided on a BOV yet. But other than that. Probably nothing else.

Like the one I built for my late father back in 2002.

I've been in the rotary community since around 1998. Had a few RX's since then. Last one I had was the picture of my fathers RX I built before my ex wife won it and sold it in my divorce.

I'm not letting a Series 5 Turbo II out of my hands.

Stock boost on the S5 is around 7-8 psi, although the stock gauge won't accurately tell you. Never had an S5 cluster but my guess would be 3/4 up the gauge for a stock car.

S5 clusters also have the worst coolant temp. gauge of the 2nd gens being that there is no midway so once it reaches hot it basically means coolant seal failure. So keep your eyes on the gauges! lol

Thank you. The mud flaps were factory and embossed RX-7 on them. They were made out of the same material as the little lip wing of 86/87 like a dense foam/rubber.

Got a new radiator for the car which will be installed tomorrow. Today I pulled the interior electronics out and fixed all the cold solder joints that happens with them.

That part is done.. I took my 10 year old daughter for a ride. (She remembers the one I built for my father and remembers riding in it) She asked "Is this one faster than the blue RX7? I said "Yes it sure is!"

Explained a bit about how turbochargers worked and we boosted around a bit. Did a few light wet donuts in a parking lot and her face lit up with an ear to ear grin. I taped a $20 bill to the dashboard and told her if she can reach it she can have it.

Daddy wins! She got it afterwards.

Took the GF for a ride and got mixed up with a civic that got pissed that I changed lanes infront of him so we met up on the entrance light of the freeway..

Good God I feel like a kid again. 1st 2nd and got a little loose in 3rd. The guy just ate my taillights. (Ricer flyby afterwards)

I have my car... It's never going to be sold.. I'm almost 33 years old turning 12 again.
