BC Jacking Points 84 GSL-SE

Hi all,

I'm trying to get the FB up in the air but having difficulties as I'm a little nervous to damage anything (that isn't already damaged) and this is my first full unibody.

I saw from the manual and searches that the little jacking point on the side where the metals meet, but the front passenger spot is crumbled and obviously not a good spot to actually jack, there are also some "fake frame" looking areas under the car where someone has crunched too T.T.

I have four jack stands and a low profile hydraulic jack.

Can anyone give me some suggestions? Currently I got the back up by jacking off the axle and placing the suspension bottom bushings? into to the jack stands...

Thank you!

You can use the rear axle(diff) to get the back end off the ground and secure it.
The front, you can use the A arms where it attaches, you will see a U shaped clamp, put the stand there.,.(on an fc anyways..not all that familiar with FB) or use the subframe..
Jack the front up by the subframe.

NOW I do have a suggestion that I frequently use.(at your own risk)
I put a piece of 2x4 about 16 inches long under the "frame rail" (you know the one that usually squishes when you put a jack on it.) and in between the jack cup.
It helps top distribute the weight of the car and Personally I haven't had the car's rails get squished.
If you can get by without putting the jack stands on the floor area of the car and use the "subframes or diff" parts of the car then it is beneficial and safer.
Honestly they should have the jack points in the manual.
