Hey I'm Eric and I'm newbish to the forums, I just traded an 01 Honda Accord for a white '90 RX7 Vert which I absolutely love. I've had the car for about 2 weeks now and I noticed the check engine light is on but when I give it gas, it goes away. It's kind of bothering me but I'd like your guys' input and where I should start. I'm pretty mechanically incline, partially lol. Thanks!

Chances are it's TPS related.

 

Yeah, I back probed the connector and it was way out of range. New/used tps here I come! lol, thanks guys!

 

The G/R wire should read close to 1 volt fully warmed w/key to on. If it does not then you can adjust the TPS screw to bring it into spec.
