I know not ANOTHER clicking starter thread
first off i would like to say that i have read a mind numbing amount of threads on this. With that said i have the clicking starter problem. I have changed the battery and starter and still the same thing. I also tried jumping the teminals at the starter to by pass the ignition to no luck, just clicks. I checked the voltage on the positive terminal and on the solenoid wire and both are showing 12 volt (the solenoid is actually 11.6). I have searched and searched but can't find the answer, any help would be appreciated. Really want to drive it seeing as it's a long weekend with good weather (rare in Canada)

Good weather is rare in Canada?
Take the starter off of the car and bench test it. Does it work?
Can you rotate the engine by hand?
If there is a "yes" to those two questions but it still won't work in the car, then there is a wiring problem. Make sure the engine main ground isn't missing and is in good shape, and make sure that the 12V wire to the starter is in good shape. If either of those wires are poor then you will measure 12V but as soon as the starter engages it will drop to near zero due to resistance.
