I have a plan on what im gonna do with my vert, I need advice

So I decided that I am going to fully fix the car I have now. I am gonna try and see if this guy is gonna give me an sr5 front in, instead using my sr4.

Alright so my main problem with that car is interior, I was actually planning on selling it but last night I decided what it is that I really want to do with it. Why I wanted this car in the first place.

So I like the afterburn style for rims and with my first 7, but i couldnt find out what it was called afterburn, I have been looking at rainbow, colored rims, chrome burn, etc.
I know I'm a loser.

Anyway I want to add this exhaust to it
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Unive...ht_5549wt_1083
I like the stock dual exhaust but with my new 7 the guy put on a fart cannon, I like the humming noise it makes, its actually relaxing but since im a girl I want my baby to look purty.
lol
so I started to try and find afterburn rims to match the exhaust i wanna replace

http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...burner+-+Black

now this would have to be the last final touches when I am actually done
but instead of having it flat white I want to paint it pearl white, or opal,I just want it to look like the diamond in the sunlight.

Now first things first, I have to do the inside and thats like the worst part for me. I wanna take out all of the blue carpeting, it's already ruined from the previous owner.

I also want to rip the whole dash out and replace it with a black dash....or afterburn dash..just playin. I like black dash board or I m thinking baige. But I kind of want baige carpeting. except where the top is, there is carpet in that area and I would rather have it black in the back. Yes I know I am attracting the sunrays.

also I want to buy a stereo system because I have the original stock radio that came with the car in 1988
if any in CAlifornia wants it I will sell that for $15, I wanted someone to hook it up but I dont have the plugins for it, so my boyfriend says.
lol

and I am putting in racing harnesses to replace the seat belts. since a smaller car its actually would be safer even if its not turbo'd....but I will get it turbo'd but thats not until I make it look like a beast.

I want to know if anyone reads this, if someone can give some advice on anything, I have an opened mind. But I do REALLY want some advice on the backside rear end where the muffler/exhaust goes..the stock exhaust is dual. so there is the little indent things. I wanted to get dual again, but changed my mind after finding the dual pipe exhaust that looks all purty lol i know what can i say

Thank you.
Tia

wheels,yes!
exhaust NO.(cheap is just that,it won't last 2 months!)
get a Racing Beat exhaust for that Vert and never look back!..it will growl on Deceleration.Mine did,and I loved it.
As far as interior,I would suggest that you post UP in the Sec Gen Parts section and ask if anyone has a carpet..Stay BLUE!..Black in Sun is HOT,Trust me!.I have a Coupe with Black interior, and I took a temp reading last summer.whew! it was 154 Degrees Inside the car.Seriously!

I fully agree with misterstyx and also if your going to run duals the rx7 stock "duals" is just a single to a y pipe if you want true duals get a racing beat exhaust system personally i ran a 2 1/4 inch straight pipe to a dc sports muffler sounds pretty good and interior wise stay away from black or grey I have grey inside mine and even without no sun out for the day the inside is a noticable 10 - 20 degrees hotter than outside with sun it gets to hot stay with a light color

I just want the carpet and the dash black I know it will probably get hotter, i hate the blue interior, I want something that will go with the outside, like the rims that I that i am gonna get are black, I dont want white because it will get really dirty, I am pretty much getting a decent dashboard that is black for free and when I have the time to pick it up, And get it installed to the car I will be taking out the carpet of the car

Since that's just a universal muffler, it's up to you to make it fit. You'll need to trim the bumper cutouts to fit the dual tip (I have two dual tip mufflers on my 2nd gen). One thing the ad didn't mention is packing material. If it is low quality fiberglass, the muffler won't last long before melting if you don't have any cats.

Personally I think the "burned" tips look idiotic on a 160HP car, but to each his/her own.

You'll likely find that without a resonator, the muffler will be as loud as a fart cannon.

Actually I like those wheels. I'd paint over the rainbow though. Keep in mind that 19" x 9.5" is about the limit as to what you can get in the wheel wells without rolling fenders

now this would have to be the last final touches when I am actually done
but instead of having it flat white I want to paint it pearl white, or opal,I just want it to look like the diamond in the sunlight.
Opal, no question. But the car must be DEAD STRAIGHT and it won't be cheap to spray. Find a good body shop that is used to dealing with high end jobs.

I don't think I really know what this "afterburn" means...

You can get beige carpet I believe from Auto Custom Carpets. Be aware that the fitment of some of their carpets can be a bit rough, and it will take about a week to get it right.

also I want to buy a stereo system because I have the original stock radio that came with the car in 1988

Any stereo shop should be able to supply you a universal Mazda harness that will adapt any new stereo to the RX-7. However I personally don't think it's a good way to go. If you are going to upgrade the system, simply run new wiring out to the new speakers.

and I am putting in racing harnesses to replace the seat belts. since a smaller car its actually would be safer even if its not turbo'd....but I will get it turbo'd but thats not until I make it look like a beast.
Remember, if you put in a racing 5 point harness, you need to install a cross bar behind the seat at just below shoulder level to connect the shoulder straps. They MUST be installed correctly and at the correct height, otherwise it will cause you MORE injury in a collision.

How about dual, dual tip mufflers? I agree, 2nd gens need dual exhaust and fart cannons are for children and Neon owners.
