1988 Mazda rx7 gxl non turbo. With upgraded radiator. Car runs rich at idle and runs around 2k and drops to 1k but not any lower while idling.

n/a's run pig rich period, if your idle isn't dropping, you could have a vacuum leak

To the point where you can't even stand behind the car while it's on cuz you'll get light headed. The only thing I found is the I think is the charcoal canister not connected right bottom hose is severed but idk to what. A black canister looking things on the right side of the motor.

charcoal canister will make it smell like gas fumes

is the exhaust on your car stock or aftermarket?

as said above, they naturally run rich.

when was your last tuneup?

even with a cat in place the exhaust can be pretty strong. however, the cat(s) may be failing. also, maybe there's a leak toward the front.

So all that was done was a radiator swap and now the car is running pig rich? ONLY the radiator? Not something silly like removing the thermostat? Is the car stock otherwise?

It's possible the cooling system needs to be bled. Air bubbles could be preventing the ECT from reading engine temp, keeping it perpetually in cold start.
