hello everyone, i got a 93 rx7 with a couple of mods apexi intakes and full apexi exhaust with downpipe and midpipe, no cats. new to the rotary, how high is the idle at a cold start? i also noticed that the air pump connector was disconnected, wondering if that has anything to do with it.

 

i've seen as high as 2000 rpm

 

Well mine goes up to 3k for bout 15sec then down to around 2200 then slowly makes its way down. But between when it hits 2200rpms down to about 1100rpms it would sputter for a bit then smooth out. But she runs fine. Kinda weird.

 

if it idles about 1100 then you should be good
