how do you know if you blow your oil seals
i have 87 turbo II and i had a bought a turbo that was bad it was blowing alot of whit smoke so i decided to rebuild it but still doing the same thing and idk if its my oil seals or my turbo and m car never smoked until i bought this turbo and rebuild it

white smoke is usually Coolant.You will have to smell the smoke to see if it is oil or if it smells sweet or like rotten eggs(coolant).
If you replaced the turbo and had oil in the exhaust then you need to give it time to burn off.If the turbo wasn't rebuilt properly or is bad then it will continue to put oil in the exhaust.
The only way to find out would be to drop the downpipe and look at the turbo there,for signs of oil.
