Ok so the wire for the hood latch broke and I decided instead of trying to replace it just install hood pins. Anybody know of a good brand, I was thinking sparco but am open to suguestions.

There's a brand one of the Subaru guys uses and they are a lot sturdier than regular hood pins. They also lock with a key so no one can steal yo ****. I'll ask and get back to you.

Look up Aerocatch hood pins. They may cost you a bit but they are worth it.
Honestly,If you just DD the car,buy another cable, used.
Hood pins raise the "awareness" of something worth stealing being under the hood for some odd reason..(what's in there?..lol!)

That's actually what he has. They're flush with the hood, so they won't unlatch and end up throwing your hood into your window.
