HID upgrade?

Well I've been looking for an HID upgrade kit for my car since I bought it, about a month ago. Haven't had much luck until tonight.

Found out that SakeBomb makes an HID conversion that keeps my stock pop-ups (which I love). I've watched all the videos and seen what they can do.

But has anyone had personal experience with these? If so, are they worth it? If not, why are they not worth it, and do you have a brand you prefer?

The only correct way to do an HID Upgrade is with a kit like the Sakebomb one because it replaces your headlamp with HID projector. Intern this distributes the light a lot better then the ebay kits which most of the time do not include a Projector and just end up scattering the light all over the place. When you use a ebay kit a lot of the time it makes your visual area worse then stock.

There are also a bunch of companies that do retro fit HID projectors for cars using your stock Headlamp. If you GOOGLE Retrofit and HID you will see what I mean.

Good Example of a retro fit.

and another good example.

if you do get a hid kit, make sure it replicates both high and low beam - I bought my car with a hid kit already fitted only to discover that the previous owner had been cheap and installed the simple version that only has low beam
