hesitations
alright well i had a few hesitations tonight, on the highway pushing the car and puttin it into third, shift into 4th and at 5000 i get a stuble still 5500, then it was fine.. it happend a few times and once from 4 to 45 then 5 to 55 again so i babied it home. a friend told me its probable the air bypass valve, he said probably leaking cause i would be making full boost, so just curious what should i do ? go aftermarket bov or replace the abv..
any help would be great thanks

sounds more like fuel cut from overboosting. be careful and go gentle on throttle until you figure out how much boost you are running and get a boost controller or your next thread is going to be about having a bad idle and the car not making any power (b/c you blew the motor).

A boost controller cannot lower boost.
Fuel cut is at 8.6 PSI, so it sounds like that is your issue.
Be careful after the FCD is installed. You'll start running out of fuel before 10 PSI.

Thats the problem. With a full open exhaust, w/o any restrictions, its extremely difficult to control the amount of air flow (and therefore the boost). Especially up in Canada where its cooler and the air is thinner than in hot climates.
When I had a TII and lived in the North East, I had to run the stock airbox w/ a paper filter and a cat in order to haven enough restriction in air flow so that I could control boost to safe levels. YMMV.
I think you'll need to add some restriction to your exhaust and/or intake to try and keep boost at 8 PSI.
